Foo Phing Dim Sum @ Hilltop

If you are looking for one of the best place and complete dim sum in KK, I would recommend you Foo Phing Dim Sum. This shop is located at the same row of shop with Restaurant Makanan Sedap and "Jia Xiang" beef noodle! You can hardly miss them because they occupy quite a number of shops! =) You can wake up as early as 7am for breakfast at Foo Phing for their best Lotus Leaf rice a.k.a He Ye Fan (River Leaf Rice) and Custard bun a.k.a Liu Sha Bao (Golden Lava Steamed Bun). Price wise is affordable and slightly cheaper as compared to many other places. No service charge but they charge GST!

From top: Fried skin beancurd roll with shrimp, Custard bun, Pork dumpling, Lotus leaf rice, Xiao Long Bao and Shrimp dumpling

Enjoy and have a nice day! =)

Georg Peck @ Marketplace 88, KK

Looking for another chilling out place in KK, Sabah? Why not try Georg Peck at Marketplace 88! The concept of the shop is almost the same like Chatime and Gongcha but this has something different from others which is their waffles!!!! If you Google about this shop on the internet, they have some other branches in KL but this is their very first branch in KK. Price wise is almost the same but the quality of the coffee is better! =)

Georg Peck at Marketplace 88! Quite hidden from the main road..

House Brewed Coffee and Mango with Honey Ice Blended (each RM 5.90).. The coffee was good and above my expectation!

Props for you to have fun before your food is served! =p

Chocolate Temptation (RM 11.90).. The waffle is not that crispy but it's much better as compared to many other places! Very nice presentation and served with marshmallow..

Enjoy and have a nice day! Time for GST!!!! =)

Biru Biru Cafe, Borneo Backpackers @ Kota Kinabalu

This place is actually recommended by my friend and so, I decided to give it a try! Biru Biru Cafe is a cafe within Borneo Backpackers which is located in the center of Kota Kinabalu. The setting is so traditional looking and unique as compared to other modern looking cafes in town! As for the menu, it is very simple because there isn't a lot of varieties but they serve food with a mix of Western and Local style. Come and try, then you will know how interesting it is!

Biru Biru Cafe within Borneo Backpackers, located near the traffic police station Kota Kinabalu..

Nice interior design and they have some board games for you while waiting for your food to be served!

Tomato Tuhau Pasta (RM 16.90).. Tomato sauce blended with tuhau.. Quite an interesting combination and tasted quite good! =)

Chicken pumpkin sandwich with fries (RM 11.90)...  First time for me and this is good as well even though I don't really like pumpkin! But this is a bit too dry for me, maybe should have more sauce next time.. =)

Waffle with coconut ice cream and "gula melaka" syrup (RM 10.90)! Very interesting combo but the price is a bit expensive for this and I wish there is more syrup as well.. =)

That's all for now! Enjoy and have a nice weekend! =)
