Foo Chow Food @ Megalong Complex, Dongongon

Just few posts ago, I remember that I have blogged a Foo Chow stall at Taman Mesra. And again, I discovered another old stall which has been selling for years at Megalong Complex, Dongongon. According to my girlfriend who is a Foo Chow, she says that this is really authentic and it has the "home-made" taste! There are not many items on the menu but all are equally "hot" item! If you want to locate this shop, it's at first floor in the complex which at the same corner as Giant.

Foo Chow Dry Noodle with minced meat (RM 4)..  The cheapest and nicest Foo Chow noodle in town!

Red Wine Noodle (RM 10).. Taste better than the Taman Mesra's one, even the colour of it has already shown you how good is it!

Just one complaint which is that the service is a bit slow when there are many customers. Anyway, spend some time to wait is really worth it! Definitely this is not the one and only trip to this place!

Enjoy and have a nice day! =)

Beans & Beans Coffee @ Suria Sabah

Another Korean Dessert shop has come to KK and it's Beans & Beans. Located at LG level and same row with Sushi King (few shops away if not mistaken). They do serve a varieties of "bingsu" (shaved ice topped with special ingredients), desserts and drinks. The design of the shop is almost the same like Numpat =p but they have a few sofa in the middle which is more comfortable! Didn't have the chance to try much because there is only 2 of us! So we ordered one chocolate bingsu to share.. But their portion is kind of small.. =)

Chocolate bingsu (RM 17.80).. I love this so much because it has wonderful toppings such as ice cream, chocolate cake pieces, banana slices etc!

Sorry to say that I can't really commend much as I just tried once but I will definitely be back for others! So as for you, there is a new hang out place in town! Enjoy and have a nice day =)

Bukit Perahu @ Tamparuli Town

If you are looking for another good spot to hike without much congestion like Bukit Padang, you can drive for about 40 minutes to Tamparuli town to hike this Bukit Perahu! The trail is a bit more longer and challenging as compared to Bukit Padang. If you have good stamina with good hiking skill, 30 minutes is the max for you to reach the peak!

We started off at around 5.20 am and hiked for about 40 minutes and thought that we would be about to catch the sun rise. But too bad that we couldn't get the sun rise as the weather was too hazy. Luckily the air is cooling enough with strong winds. Just one advise, don't wear too thin to hike! =)

At the peak with the Malaysia flag

 View of the nearby towns

Nothing much to do up there. Just a flat land for you to chit chat and take selfie while waiting for others! =p

Ok, just to show where to start off! The place is never easy to find if it's your first time there! Look for landmarks such as the community hall and St Veronica Hill! They are just 2 minutes drive away from the town and there is no proper parking space, so just park your car along the road will do as long as you do not cause any havoc to the traffic!

Community hall the at opposite side of the road

St Veronica Hill.. It seems that they used to use the hill for Station of the Cross during advent season

Uphill all the way and you will find crosses along the trail!

Huge cross after the 13th station which is not far away from the peak!

Once you see this from far, that means you are very near to the peak!

Enjoy and have a nice day! =)
