New Kai Seng Seafood Restaurant @ Jalan Kenanga, Pudu, KL

Though this place has existed for quite some time but this is my first time having dinner here. If it wasn't because of Facebook featured this place, I wouldn't have knew this restaurant.

New Kai Seng Seafood Restaurant is located on Jalan Kenanga, area around Pudu. You can Google for this place or even find out the exact location on their Facebook page if you have no idea where it is. As for the location, though it is strategic but parking space is quite limited. Getting there with GRAB is not a bad idea! So, there are many special dishes which they serve e.g. Stir-fried raw noodle with fresh water prawns (生虾伊面), Steamed clams in superior sauce (上汤啦啦), Claypot crabs with coconut milk (瓦煲椰汁蟹), Vietnam pork knuckle (越南炸猪脚) and many many more! Though there are many customers all the time but no worries, their service is still ok.

Grub by Ah Hong @ Section 17, PJ

Grub by Ah Hong, a place for Western meal.

If you haven't been there, you must go there! Ambiance is just like a normal cafe but the food presentation is like the fining dining type with an affordable price. And one advice is that make sure that you make a booking first, or else you will be ended with disappointment unless you thought of having your dinner late (maybe around 9pm). And if you look through their kitchen, don't be afraid. The kitchen staff definitely did a good job by serving good food. =) Parking wise, parking is definitely hard to find unless you are lucky enough to get parking right in front of the shop.

The entrance of the shop. Limited space downstairs. And most of the tables are reserved!

Genting Highlands @ Pahang

Just a throwback during the last year end trip to Genting Highlands.

Travelling to Genting Highlands is never difficult from KL as there are many ways of getting there. There are many bus services from different parts of Klang Valley (such as Pudu Sentral, KL Sentral, One Utama or Terminal Putra LRT Gombak), KLIA and many more. You can refer to the time schedule and fare from their website or click here. The bus will usually stop at Awana Transport Hub and you may proceed with the Sky Train. But before going for the Skyway, you can shop at Genting Highlands Premium Outlet (GPO) as there are many popular branded shops and frequently they have wonderful promotions!

White + Scarlet Restaurant @ Bandaran Menjalara, Kepong

Looking for a simple and nice western cuisine for lunch or dinner, or even a hang out place during tea time or supper, you can try White + Scarlet Restaurant at Bandaran Menjalara, Kepong. It is located facing Tesco Kepong and at the front row of all the shops which can hardly be missed when you drive along the main road. You can even Google this place on Google map. The down side around this area is the parking as there are many eateries around this area as well, unless you park in Tesco and just walk across the road! =) From the menu wise, they serve a wide variety of food. The special one that must try on the menu includes Spicy seafood aglio, lamb chop or any of the Western grill (or with waffles) with salted egg sauce, prawn paste fried chicken and last but not least, the waffles with ice cream toppings!

White + Scarlet Restaurant.. One of its kind around this area.. I don't think there is any other restaurants serving the same menu around this area..
