Generation X

Consumers are always RIGHT even though they are always wrong! This is really true especially for those who are born in the early 60's or known as Generation X. This might be because they have gone through a very tough life when they were young and born to be stubborn without listening to others especially those who are much younger than them at most of the time. They are always RIGHT and the younger ones are always WRONG. I didn't mean to criticise them but this is the fact and argument between parents and children often arise especially when both parties are stubborn.

I have came about this recently, I was being blamed by the son of one old patient in my ward for supplying a medical device to the patient's care taker from the old folks' home upon the patient's discharge. The point is that the son is too busy with his work until he has no time to visit his father at the hospital to see me, but the care taker visits the son's father in the hospital everyday! If you are there to observe for few days, you would have assumed that the care taker is a reliable person. Besides, to supply the medical device to the care taker is the right choice because the patient is going to return to the old folks' home eventually. So I don't see there's any problem anywhere but I'm in the wrong position.

Anyway, calmness and patience are important in handling this type situation to avoid heated arguments. I hope that these generation X will understand us one day.

Enjoy and have a nice weekend.

Between the Blind, the Deaf and the Mute

I still remember about 2 weeks ago when I'm still back in KL for my holiday. I accompanied my mum to the clinic for 3 monthly review with the doctor. As we were too early for the visit, we went for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. And I realised that there was this couple who were blind sitting beside my table. I kept on observing them at that time and many things really struck my mind. I was so amazed of them at that time and I realised that how lucky am I that I have all my 5 senses working so well. When I was back home, I kept on pondering, what if I was blind OR deaf OR mute!

If you were given a do-or-die chance to choose 2 out of 3, which one do you wish you must have?! To see how they cope and live a normal life is really amazing. Everyday is a great challenge for them. To find food, to find a partner, to find a proper shelter and so on, everything is a challenge for them. Can you imagine, we have four limbs and everything in our body are doing perfect but how come we are still complaining? How come we are still complaining when we have a good job which we can earn for a living? People nowadays tends to be more choosy with what they are working for! I hope that you can consider and ponder yourself as compared to them when you are complaining about your job! I know life is difficult but there is always a way to sort it out rather than COMPLAINING!

Enjoy and have a nice day!

Burger Bakar @ Habiba Suite, Kota Kinabalu

When you talk about BURGER BAKAR pioneer in Kota Kinabalu, I guess Habiba Suite is the place. Located at the top of the signal hill, right after passing the observatory platform. Turn into the apartment and you will see a small stall with tables and chairs on your left hand side! I guess many people do not know this place yet because people tends to go for the more famous one e.g. in Tanjung Aru and Marketplace 88.

The varieties that they have are the chicken and beef patties come in single (RM5), double (RM9) or triple (RM14) patties in one burger OR they have the Big B (21 cm) which is the huge one and lastly, the hot dog bread. If you want to have this, make sure that you are early because they are easily sold out for delivery. Delivery service is provided and a minimum charges is charged if you order less than a certain amount! Free of delivery if you order more!

Double beef patties, thick, juicy and tender! Topped with lots of vegetables and sauce.. Fantastic when it's served hot! Worth for the price!

Not much choices of drink but they have this, "Kopi botol"! =) It seems it's a local coffee which comes from Tenom...

So make sure that you try this place if you are looking for good burger bakar in KK!

Enjoy and have a nice weekend...
