Rights of Animals

I have tried going for movie twice a day, sing k twice a day, playing futsal twice a day but this is my first time that I am playing futsal 4 times in a week. Phew. I ended up spending more time lying down than standing and sitting now because I can hardly stand on my feet for more than 5 minutes. Anyway, I know there is going to be 1 week break for me because Chinese New Year is just around the corner. Looks like it is going to be a very different year for me this time. Hope so!

I am sure many people have animals such as dogs, cats and some even have tiger etc as their pets. Ok, the trend now is people are now going for rabbits because it is the year of Rabbit. Sometimes I am so envy that some of the animals have better life than me. Oh ya, my cousin brother actually has 2 rottweilers and you know what, they stay in rooms fitted with air-cond. And even my friend's doggie goes for grooming every 2 weeks. OMG. Anyway, it is really good to have such onwers because they have animals is because they really like them. But some people do not realise that it is actually a huge responsibility and animals should always be treated well.

Recently, there was some hot issues on Facebook whereby a video caught a couple torturing their cute little puppy. Maybe they do not realise that animals do not really understand human language, that's why the puppy got beaten up cruelly when it failed to follow their instructions. Though I don't really like pets because of some really "bad experience" especially puppies, but at least I am a much better people than them because I know that I used to treat animals with "respect". Even for laboratory rats, I don't kill them without anaesthetised them. At the end of the day, I may need to submit a report on how did I treat the animals for my studies.

So fine, this is just to make everyone realise that animals do have their own rights, their rights of living a normal life. Just think before you act. I am sure that you wouldn't want someone else to treat you like that in the future.

Enjoy and have a nice day....

Say "No" to Cybercriminals

At last, I got some time to spend for blogging. I can't believe that this is the first time that I finished both my triggers on a Friday night. Phew. And Chinese New Year is just around the corner, I am just praying that I have more time to spend, so that I can make sure that myself is really prepared for the new year. Anyway, let's not talk about that for now.

FACEBOOK. I am sure everyone knows about this social networking site, even my niece at the age of 7 has an account to log on. Come on, the world has changed. It is alright if everyone uses it in a rational or appropriate manner, but do you know that there is cybercriminals preying for victims on the internet or perhaps Facebook? But some people are just too willingly to "expose" themselves to strangers, for example posting some status which is non-sense. You know, some people will just like to tell everyone that they are eating, sleeping, taking bath, going to "where where where" etc everyday without failed.

Ok. Just some of the statistics done in Malaysia, Malaysians have the highest number of friends and each person spent an average of 9 hours a week on Facebook. And it MAYBE the highest number of Facebook crimes recorded as well. People are just too naive and didn't realise that there are some "crack-pot"s are too free and hack into one's account and play around. Do you know that this can be prevented ?

Just some tips to overcome:-

1. Never post your address, phone number or email address.

2. Filter the photographs you choose to upload to Facebook.

3. Understand Facebook's security settings and use them.

4. Do not accept Friend Requests from strangers.

5. Remember to log out of your Facebook account esp. when you are using public computers,

6. Control who can see your personal information.

7. Don't share your password with anyone.

8. Block users who send you unwanted content.

9. Think twice before clicking on any links.

10. Use strong passwords and change your password frequently.

11. Be wary of seemingly harmless quizzes that request access to your personal information.

Sometimes you may not realise whether you have posted something inappropriate but I really hope that this can really help everyone.

Enjoy and have a nice day

Riding A Bike

Flipping through the newspaper is my daily routine when I wake up. But it has not trigger my nostalgia for quite some time already. I remember that I did a lot of things with my bike, really too many to mention! Ha-ha. Ok, back to the topic. Anyway, I was wondering whether anyone is still interested in learning how to ride a bike?

There are actually 3 ways to learn. So the first way will be learning by using a bicycle with 2 supporting wheels. Yea, I know that is a 5-years old kid method. If you think that it is a bit too childish, may be you can go for option 2. Without the 2 supporting wheels, but you must have both of your feet on the ground to learn how to balance. Slowly take up your feet and pedal the bicycle. This is some how tougher and it may take up more time as compared to option 1.

And the last option actually requires some other people to be with you. Please make sure that this person has good stamina because it requires your partner to run with you. Besides, this people will help and prevent you from falling to the ground and injure yourself badly. So, the last option actually requires you to have your feet on the pedals and cycle your way through the learning process. Your partner doesn't need to hold the handling bar, he or she just need to hold you only!

If you are really an amateur, please make sure you have your head gear and some protections for your elbows and knees.
Remember! Don't give up easily!

Enjoy and have a nice day...

... (Part 2)

I know that it is a bit too late for the second part because the year 2010 has ended for more than a week but I will still continue.

As I have almost half a year more to end my course, I know that there is no turning back to what I have did for the past 4 to 5 years. No cyber cafe, no midnight movies, no guys' talk, no beer talk, no futsal and so on. But it is not about that! Frankly speaking, my sisters always say "Kevin, you should be the most free person at home because both of us are working but you are just studying!" There is always an argument about this when this matter arises. I totally disagree the way they talk and what they talk to me. To me, if I don't study hard, I will be just a piece of shit in the society in the future. Anyway, I will always choose to give up because I don't like arguments, I don't like to compete with anyone in any ways.

Ok, so... How much of frustrations do you get at work doesn't mean that you can bring it back home! Do you that it is the best way to release stress? Family, is actually where you can get the most comfort. No matter what you did, in good times or bad times, they will always be there for you! Trust me, if you are afraid of them, the biggest problem is actually you yourself. Especially mothers, every mothers will always want to involve themselves in any of your decision makings. Sometimes it will just frustrate you more than helping out, but please keep your temper and bear with it. Anyway, it is up to you on how you see your family picture.

Last thing to talk is actually Liverpool. It is really sad to see how Liverpool is doing now. Anyway, I hope that Kenny can do something about it. I really have no comments this time. YNWA!

I made a lot of wishes during Christmas this year because I think I need all of them very badly. Hopefully He can grant all my wishes! But definitely nothing about wanting a girlfriend. Ha-ha.

Enjoy and have a nice day..
