The Days When I Walked into the Kindergarden

I remember the time when I walked into the kindergarden was when I was only 6 years old. Life was so relaxing, everything in the kindergarden was about learning with fun, playing and screwing things up-side-down. And when I think back, it was about 20 years ago already. Life passes too fast and it is now time to enjoy working life and earn some money to enjoy life!

And nowadays, kids are thrown into kindergarden at some earlier ages. I was so surprised when my mum told me that XX's is about to put her son into the kindergarden soon. And he is just about 2-3 years old only. Argh. Come on, it is just because you wanted to compete with your cousin's or neighbour's kids and you want your kids to suffer another few years of "bored" study! Try to think back, it is not necessary AT ALL! Some mothers are so pathetic that they even want to send their kids for tuition. Gosh.... It's still acceptable if they want to send their kids for piano lesson, swimming lesson and so on. I wonder how would they feel when I throw these mothers to learn ABC for 3-4 years before entering the primaries.

To make sure that your kids are smart enough to get a good and high-pay job in the future is not about giving them a lengthy studying years, but it is all about giving them a good education at home! Spending quality time with them is actually the best remedy to nurture a smart kid. Ok, no doubt that money is hard to earn nowadays. But can't you even dig out about 20% of your time in a week for your family and kids?! Young children involved in various unhealthy activities is now at an alarming level. Hopefully everyone is still aware about this issue!

Enjoy and have a nice day.. Happy Hari Keamatan everyone! =)

When A Bunch of Crazy Friends Visited Sabah Part 3 (back dated 17-20 May 2012)

So right after the morning visit to the War Memorial Garden, we visited the cow farm (Desa Dairy Farm). We were actually a bit late or else we actually have the chance to squeeze out fresh milk from the cows. Too bad, the cows were released to the green already. The next session is actually at 4pm. Anyway, it was a good place to take nice pictures as well except with some "smell" only. =)

You can only find this place if you are adventurous enough =)

Fresh milk for sale, RM4.50 for 1 liter. RM2.50 for 250mL. Available in 2 favours but the chocolate one ran out of stock when we were there...

When A Bunch of Crazy Friends Visited Sabah Part 2 (back dated 17-20 May 2012)

Wow. I have idea where I got this picture. =p Ok, not many talkings about this part because there are many pictures can be taken at this place which is the War Memorial Garden. And again, entrance fee is RM2. This garden mainly has 4 sections, 4 different garden for 4 different nations. And also, you can have a very good view of Kundasang town and Mount Kinabalu from this garden! So, it was worth paying that RM2 to spend half an hour here...

Entrance for the War Memorial Garden. Can be easily missed!

When A Bunch of Crazy Friends Visited Sabah Part 1 (back dated 17-20 May 2012)

Yeah Yeah! I am now counting down the days to go back to KL for a good good holiday. "10 days to go now!" But just before going back to KL for holidays, just in time for me to entertain a group of good friends with a new friend from Johor when they came to Sabah. Phew.. With all the odd timings and plannings, at least it was a manageable trip to manage quite a big group of them. Ha-ha.. Hmm..

So as they stepped down at KKIA T2, I actually gave them a surprise. =)  Ha-ha. But luckily that they can still recognise me. So after checking in into the Marina Court Apartment, we went to the nearby island for some sun-bathing. Then, we went for a so-so seafood dinner just before they head back to the apartment for some rest.

Dinner at 大茄来!

As for the next day plan, we went up to Kundasang for some cool air. Woo hoo... But before checking into the hotel (Strawberry Garden Hotel), we dropped by at Kinabalu Park. This is where the starting point for those people who are climbing up to Mount Kinabalu. Other than "trekking" to the starting point, we have visited the muzeum FOC. Ok, here are some of the pictures taken at Kinabalu Park.

 The muzeum at Kinabalu Park

Ok, after the brief visit to Kinabalu Park. We checked in our luggage before heading to Kundasang town for lunch. Basically, Kundasang town is a small town about 5 minutes of drive away from Kinabalu Park. Here, you can get a wide varieties of fresh vegetables and fruits. You name it, you got it! Ha-ha. So we managed to buy some mushrooms and vegetables for dinner. =)

 Lunch at Kundasang

Tamu (market place) at Kundasang

The place where we had lunch. Gosh, the fried banana was too good!

After having lunch at Kundasang, we have headed to Poring Hotspring for a bath! It was almost 45 minutes drive from Kundasang town (cutting through Ranau town). This is also one of the famous attractive tourist spot! But remember to bring along your trekking shoes if you want to go for the canopy walk or to the caves and waterfalls! =) As usual, entrance fee was RM3 and additional of RM3 if you want to go for the canopy walk.

 Poring Hotpring

You won't get lost when you have this!

Trekking into the woods for the waterfalls...

Wow. Nice view of Mount Kinabalu at Kundasang town

Strawberry Garden Resort (RM300 per night for 1 chalet which can fit almost 10 person)

Depress, Depress and Depress...

"Dan mungkin bila nanti, kita kan bertemu lagi.... (By Peter Pan)"

I have kept myself busy for the whole day for not thinking about what has happened few days back, but it seems like it's useless. Phew.. I had a very depressing Monday! Anyway, I must try to keep myself to think positive and look forward for my next holiday which is in 2 weeks time!

Pray hard for an enjoyable Tuesday tomorrow...

Enjoy and have a nice day.... =D
