Dinner at Korean BBQ Likas

After fulfilling our craves for Japanese food at Hana, Susan and I craved for Korean food and made 2 visits to Korean BBQ Likas, near Likas Stadium on two different occasions because we had bought our Groupon! The restaurant is just attached to a building at a golf range. So, you could never miss this place! Marinated meat was fantastic for both of the times but sadly, they do not have mixed flavored meat on the same plane! Or else, we were able to try more! =)

Marinated Pork Rib, RM 28. Went very well with a bowl of rice with side dishes...

Spicy Soft Bean curd Soup, RM 17. Quite expensive for this dish because we have only bean curds with some slices of meat in the soup...

Korean Rice Cake, RM 25. Worth to try if you haven't tasted this before.. Something like glutenous rice cake and cooked with Kim Chi sauce..

Second occasion to use up the second coupon!

Spicy Pork Rib, RM 28. Very special taste it has, I wonder what sauce did they used!!

Korean Pancake, RM 25. Very expensive for this. Better say "No" to this. Price is almost the same as those BBQ meat, why not choose those!

Beef Soup, RM 25. This is a much better option than the pancake. This is some kind of peppery vegetable soup with beef... Not too salty!

For 2 person on 2 different occasions for both of the bills costed us about RM 200. Portion was big, so I recommend to order one plate of BBQ meat with a soup and rice is good enough to fill 2 person stomach! =) Don't forget, they have side dishes as well!

Enjoy and have a nice day...

Celebration at Hana Japanese Restaurant

Wanted to celebrate our half year anniversary here quite some times ago but we were too busy almost every weekend for the past one month. Just made a wonderful "cholesterol boosting" trip to Kudat last weekend. And finally, we made it before I am going to make a trip back to KL this coming week! So the place was Hana Japanese Restaurant at City Mall Kota Kinabalu. The ambiance was great and the service was very good too! Whatever you paid for it is really worth it! =)

Slices of cool dish from a chicken set

Cool dish with this costed about RM 38.. Good!!

Salmon and Unagi Pizza.. Very generous with the toppings with a special crispy base! RM 32 for this.

Too bad that we were not given a pen to rate the restaurant but anyway, there will be next time for us. If you are a regular customer, do remember to apply their member's card to get 10% discount on every visit.

Oh ya, it's now featuring on Groupon for its lunch promotion. =) Grab the deal before the deal ends!!!

Enjoy and have a nice weekend. =)

我最讨厌吝啬,计较,贪小便宜的人

Huh.. I am going to kick those 2 lazy fellows from my house soon! I wouldn't ever want to see them appearing in my house anymore! Time to say "no more dirty toilet" and "no more spilled garbage" because the 2 big rubbish will be sent to the "main garbage center".... finally! Hee.. Time to stay back and live a peaceful life.

Flipping through the monthly calender every month, it's almost coming to the end of the year without realising! Coming month is going to be my third year in Sabah and my close friends around me are getting lesser. I am really happy for those who got back to their hometown after leaving their comfort zone and being independent for at least 1 year in foreign land. By doing such, at least we know that it is not easy to live with people outside. So it is either you adapt to them or they adapt themselves to you! For me, I have my own conclusion. Never ever find someone who is stingy, calculative and someone who always like to take advantage of you as your housemate! That's all for now..

Enjoy and have a nice day..

Hong Kong and Macau Trip (back dated to 7-11 Sept 2013) Part 4 The Peak

As for Day 4, we went back to Central District for Dimsum before heading to Dr. Sun Yat Sen Museum and The Peak. After The Peak, it was everyone's free time until we met back at the hotel at night!

Breakfast at Central District...

Very traditional, workers are old too but they served good food. *Thumbs up*

Dr Sun Yat Sen's Museum at Central District.. HKD 10 per person

After breakfast, we walked all the way to Dr SYS Museum. But after the visit, we took a bus ride down to The Peak Tram station because it was too far for us to walk! Make sure that you look for promotions at their website before hand because tickets can be cheaper if you buy the tram ticket with the entrance ticket for Madame Tussaud's Museum together...

The Peak

View from the top of the Peak, sky scrappers on HK island..

Famous HK singer, actress, Sammi!

Madame Tussaud, the creator!

After the Peak, we split up into 2 groups. The guy opted to shop whereas the remaining 2 of us opted to continue to hunt for good food! =)

Dessert for tea at Wan Chai... Much better dessert as compared to those at Ngong Ping! Headed back to TST and have a good rest before going out for dinner!

So happy with her curry balls at Mongkok

KFC for dinner, because we have ran out of idea of what to eat!

Last place of our trip! =)

Breakfast before we head back to KK!

Xiao Long Bao, best! Highly recommended.. Nearly missed the flight because of this!

Spicy Ramen, one of their specialty

All expenses were kept under RM 1500, excluding accommodation and air ticket..

Enjoy and have a nice day...

Hong Kong and Macau Trip (back dated to 7-11 Sept 2013) Part 3 Macau and Central District

Day 3: Day trip to Macau. We left our hotel early and walked to China Ferry Terminal to take the earliest ferry to Macau. It supposed to be a good ferry ride but it turned out to be a chaotic one when the Chinese people made stupid fussy request, not obeying command and gave us a "NO" peace ride all the way to Macau.. Thanks, you guys are great!

If you want to travel around Macau for free, make sure that you have made a thorough research for all the free rides via the casinos! And make sure that you get a Macau map before you leave the terminal... Do not change too much of MOP because not worth if to change back to HKD, moreover they accept HKD if you don't have MOP. And casinos only accept HKD...

Ferry terminal at Macau, hopped on a bus to the nearest casino which is walking distance away from Senado Square..

Breakfast at Leitaria I Son 義顺牛奶公司 (No 7 Largo Senada) for ginger milk pudding and double skin steamed milk pudding.. Must try in Macau...

Can't wait for her first bite on the tart! =p

Senado Square... Tourist spot in Macau

If you have time, do visit this church museum..  Very interesting site to visit!

Walk and walk uphill to look for the Macau Museum..

But sadly, it was not opened for every Monday! Take note guys...

Walked downhill again to look for this, Ruin's of St Paul..

Souvenir for everyone, traditional egg biscuits.. MOP 80 for one box! Recommended from a blog! Worth for the money and time that we have waited for this...

Instant noodles with curry fish ball while waiting for the biscuits..

Lunch time.. Famous duck rice in Macau.. As expected, another long queue...

Black pepper duck rice, MOP 30 for one.. At least you must try... Not too bad but a bit too expensive..

It's a MUST to visit casinos in Macau..

We didn't spend much time in Macau because we really have nothing to do in Macau unless we want to gamble. So we went back to Hong Kong early as 3 of us were really exhausted, had an early dinner and rest early for the day!

Wanton noodle at Zhan Zai Gei, Central District. Not too bad but the portion was a bit too small..

Dessert time at some hidden street @ Central District.. Recommended by a blog and it was really worth to find for this stall!

And lastly, we went to Lan Kwai Fong to see but not for a drink! =p

To be continued...

Hong Kong and Macau Trip (back dated to 7-11 Sept 2013) Part 2

Day 2 was all about Ocean Park and Avenue of Stars! Right after our breakfast at nearby restaurant, we took the MTR to Admiralty station and went on the city bus to Ocean Park. If you happened to see people are selling cheap tickets at the bus station, you may consider those! No discount price for early birds or book via their website. Make sure that you allocate the whole day for the theme park because it was to huge to venture every corner of the theme park...

Macau breakfast at TST... Milk tea, Portuguese egg tarts and pork burger breakfast!

Bus station at MTR Admiralty station

Theme park day at Ocean Park. Many people were just waiting for them to open. Make sure that you get a guide about walking around and the showtime for the performances at different place.

Panda feeding time..

 Performance at the bird park

Game time with long long long and long queues.. Choose whichever you wanted to play most..

 And snapping picture time.. =)

Take a bus and train ride back to TST before 8.00 pm for Symphony of Lights. We reached there early, so that we can walk along the Avenue of Stars to take pictures.. Look out for your idols! =)

Avenue of Stars.. Really "People Mountain, People Sea"...

She found hers! =)

Dinner time at Mongkok Complex at ShangHai St. Look for this stall
Macau Tsui Yuen Café 澳门翠碗茶餐室

Pork's Neck Curry Farmer's bun.. Highly recommended.. You will never regret after taking all the trouble to look for this place.. =)

Map to walk around in Hong Kong for the famous streets

Very tiring day 2... To be continued..
