Bangkok Trip (back dated 25-29 May 2011) Part 2

Just came back from work... Though I have not much things to do today but I am tremendously tired because of the last minute trip to Penang! Anyway, let me settle with the Bangkok Part 2 first!!

Continue from DAY 3

Just before heading to Hua Hin, we managed to drop by at the King's Summer Palace

A very nice scenery from the palace

First stop at Hua Hin, Hua Hin Beach

Phernwan, where you can get many of the local tidbits

Tea-time at Hua Hin Mall, an ice cream that doesn't fall..

Last visit to Wat Hua Hin before dinner

Seriously, it took about 2.5 hours journey to get back to the city centre. So you must really consider and consider is it worth or does it make a point to visit that place!

DAY 4

Chatuchak Market opens during the weekends only whereas Chatuchak Mall opens everyday

Right after a hot hot shopping at Chatuchak, you can continue your shopping spree at Platinum Fashion Mall

Just before the day ended, we went to Huai Huang for dinner and just a short walk along the street

Counting money time, but these 4 were actually busying vandalising all my stuff and turned my room up-side-down

DAY 5 (Time to go back)

Here goes the last one in my phone!

The sweetest couple award goes to them =>

Just a last group picture before entering the departure hall

And my last meal from Bangkok, which was on the place

There goes my 5 days 4 nights trip with my coursemates. Hopefully there is more to go!

Enjoy and have a nice day...

Bangkok Trip (back dated 25-29 May 2011) Part 1

It is really nice to call my sisters once in awhile for a short chat. Though I knew that my 二姐 is really sick but I still manage to get her to "laugh out loud". I guess so! Ha-ha.

Bangkok trip, though it was about one month ago but I can still remember everything in detail.

MBK Shopping Mall was our first destination and we had our dinner there too!

Samurai Burger.. Err.. Nothing great about it! I prefer Burger King's one!!

Ok. All these 3 are located at Siam Square. Siam Paragon is something like our Pavillion.

DAY 2

Chinatown, place to hunt for good food! It's better if you have someone who knows Hokkien walking with you..

Map at Reclining Buddha Temple, Wat Pho

Temple of Lucky Buddha

Temple of Standing Buddha

Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun

Oops. It was not my intention..

DAY 3

If you have this at your 7 Eleven, you can settle all meals for the day!

Trip to Floating Market but stopped by at the Coconut Sugar Farm

Nice one at the Floating Market

Oops. Accidentally taken her picture. =p

A temple near the Floating Market, Wat Cho

Finally, a group picture before heading to Summer Palace and Hua Hin Beach! I guess you can only see 11 person right?! Ha-ha

To be continue...

Days of Horror

For the past 3 weeks, I have been in the cinema twice watching thai horror movies. The first one was Voices from the Grave and yesterday's one was Ladda Land. For yesterday's movie, I admit that I started to close my eyes for most of the second part of the movie and I even had a nightmare at night itself. Phew. It has not happen to me for so so many years already. Anyway, it is really worth paying to watch it in cinema.

I always solute the Thais because they can really produce high quality and fantastic horror movies. I still remember the famous ones were like Shutter, Coming Soon and so on. But after watching all these movie, do you actually believe that spirits do live among us and is there a possibility for us to give into contact with them? I still remember when I was in Form 2, I went for a camp at Gombak area. The camp co-ordinator actually brought us into the woods at 2am for jungle trekking. As we were walking and walking in the jungle, someone actually stopped us. Ok, I admitted that saw something at that time. But I was a bit too naive and think that it was normal. An old lady with a small kid (~ 2-3 years old) were asking the navigator for direction in the jungle. Don't you think it's strange and surprisingly, they don't even have a torchlight in the very dark jungle.

Anyway, after dealing with "these" for more than half an hour, we continued our journey to our destination. By the time we reached our destination, my group was really late. And I actually asked my friends from the same group about what did they saw just now. They just said that they didn't know what was happening and had no idea why we stopped for more than half an hour in the jungle for no reason. No wonder the navigator didn't say anything about it after we have reached our destination. I can just assume that nothing has happened before after that incident!

As people always say, there is always rules in the jungle which you need to obey. For example, not calling your friend's real name in the jungle, not throwing any tissues with stains of blood or your saliva, not simply sitting at places where you think it can be sitted and many more. So, here are just a few. To believe or not to believe is up to you!

I guess my next movie in the cinema will not be a horror movie. Fingers crossed* Enjoy and have a nice day...

From Real to Fake for Money

I am so glad that the home internet connection is back to normal finally. I really hope that the person who stole the telephone cable get his "rewards" after being cursed and swear by me for so many days. But the bad thing is that it is time to work even though it is after working hours. Soob soob
.
While I was driving to the university yesterday morning, there was an accident happened. Unfortunately, it was a fatal accident. I saw one dead body lied at the road side with a lot of busy-bodies were surrounding it. To me, this is nothing to me already because I have seen something even worse than this many years back. Anyway, how badly hurt was not my concern. But what concerned me is that how are his/her family members going to react to this situation. Whenever I see this kind of situation or even an ambulance passes by, I will say a little prayer for that person. Hopefully, God answers all my prayers.

When it comes to prayers and offerings, it reminds me something while I was in Bangkok. Just a small sum of offerings, blessings will be showered upon you. At that point of time, I believe that they are real religious men who do the job. But if you are in KL, you can hardly trust them. I have heard many stories about fake religious men going around streets and asking for donations. This secret was actually already busted by quite a number of media many years ago but there were still people fall into this trap. They can afford a Rolex, taking taxi travelling to different streets and even can afford to eat luxurious food. But why do you still want to give them money? Actually the problem is with them, they acted too real in the way we can hardly differentiate them from the real one.

I know that to advise to stop giving is a big big wrong, but what we can hope is that who do we offer is always real. Please don't get me wrong, it is not about prejudism towards a certain religion because it has nothing to do with any religion. These people are just normal people who want to earn money by using God's name. So, just an advice. Please be careful with these people.

And I got my new camera already. Hopefully, I can have some pictures next time...

Enjoy and have a nice day.

Just Some Updates

I nearly screwed up an auntie with her son and a Bangladeshi worker just now at the parking lot. Luckily my mum was with me in the car, or else three of them will get my "4 letters word"! Damn. I am really not in a good condition to go out except to my working lab. I just want to prevent my virus from spreading to others. No choice... God says that it is time for me to sick! So for the past few days, I can only flip through the newspaper to pass my free time. Hopefully, I don't sneak out for extended lunch break to go for karaoke session again! =p

Just some updates... Hmm.. I am now working at a place which I shouldn't be working. I am now working with new lecturers and I am having a different status as well. I am no more a student of the university. Anyway, it is just for 2 months only while waiting for my posting. So, there goes all my trips and outings. I am still wondering, is it worth sacrificing just to work for the money! No No No! Too late to regret. Hopefully, I still got some time to go around with the amount of money that I am left after these 2 months. Please don't send me my offer letter so fast!!

That's all for now! Hopefully I can include something about my Bangkok trip!

Enjoy and have a nice day...
