Free of Mind - Part 2

Sunday
.
"人人初戀得一次 太回味那時 人人自然自私 要耗盡才終止 以後無論再找十個他 不相似 甚或要 懷念到再來一次......." (alarm) It's already 6am. Time to get up and start my eating spree for the day. Ha-ha. 1 Yummy yummy breakfast at the hotel! I had some noodles with fantastic mashed potato baked with cheese. Though the mashed potato was a bit dry but I enjoyed a lot because I can hardly have such a nice meal for my breakfast in KL. => Right after breakfast, time to go to Papan for 扫墓. And again, that was the only time that I can play fire-crackers with no limitation. Just for once in awhile, I polluted the air and created noise pollution. Ha-ha. I don't get my chance in KL because I think that police would be at my door step in KL when the fire cracker burned not even half.
.
After everything finished, time to get back to Pusing (my hometown) for morning tea. 2 And makan makan again, I had 3 glasses of Wan Tou Long (something like Jelly added with santan milk or lime juice) and 2 pieces of 炸年糕. OMG! 1 piece is about RM 0.70 only. I think you can only get half of it with the same price in KL. Sometimes I have to criticise a bit about KL food price. When the price for flour hikes, even those selling meat will also increase their price; when everything rises, definitely 1 bowl of noodle will be much expensive. Haizz. What to do! No price control for noodles. Anyway, the eating spree continued after washed up and checked out form the hotel as my family and I had lunch at my uncle's house.
.
Definitely irresistible! 3 With about 8 dishes on the table, how can you stop yourself from getting another bowl of rice. Ha-ha. I can say that I can only taste all these dishes once in a blue moon because I don't go back to my hometown that often, not even during CNY. Anyway, I am glad that my auntie still be able to cook for us even though at such an old age. Everything ended at 3 something and it was time to head back to KL. But before leaving the lovely little small town, 4 I had another glass of Wan Tou Long AGAIN! Ha-ha. On my journey back, it was a bit jam at the highway, so we stopped by at Bidor for evening tea. 5 And again, I had 1 bowl of prawn noodle which is about RM 3.00 and 1 huge bowl of ABC (Air Bau Campur) for the price of RM 2.20. One word to describe all, "Fantastic!" You will definitely can't get the same bowl of noodle from Penang though they are famous with Penang prawn noodle.
.
As we continued our journey back to KL, the weather was super duper terrible. It rained like it never rain before. So we stopped at the Sg. Buloh Bridge Restaurant at around 8pm for dinner. 6 It was quite a good resting place because there a number of Malay stalls selling mixed rice and some noodles, then you can even get A&W, KFC, Kaya Kopitiam, Dunkin Donut, Baskin Robbins and Burger King as well. But once again, I opt for Burger King to end my eating spree for this trip.
.
This trip was worth going after being troubled with the morning class and the train services. Ha-ha.

Free of Mind - Part 1

Saturday morning
.
"I think Gentuzumab should be the second last drug..." said by the lecturer and I was starting to lose my concentration already. Within less than 10 minutes, "... thank you." final words by the lecturer before ending the class. So, I quickly packed up my bag and my dear friend, X'tine gave me a ride to the train station. It was actually my first time taking KTM commuter at the peak hour. It was really terrible because I was stunned when I saw those people were pushing and struggling their way up the train. I just stood at the platform starring them being human sandwiches and then, the train left me behind just like that. Ha-ha. At that moment, I thought of our dear prime minister as well as dear transport minister. Finally, I got up the train 30 minutes later. I was suffocating as there was lack of oxygen in the train. So that was the consequences of choosing RM 1 ride compared to a RM 4.20 at ERL.
.
Upon arrival at KL central, I bought one set of Burger King meal and ate at KFC. What a crap! Anyway, I just sat there and ate like no body's business because those workers over there didn't even want to bother me. Ha-ha. 1pm sharp, I went on the train and started my journey heading to Ipoh. It was so so so damn frustrating in the train at the start of the journey itself. Maybe I should say that I have no luck at all because the air-cond was spoilt. Huu.. It was really a hot air oven. At mid-way, someone went on the train and sold snacks. I can see that he was quite desperate to earn something but no one cares to bother him. He should asked back himself, "Encik, nak minum kopi atau teh panas (at such a condition)?" What the "H"! We were already excess of 'Yang' and he still ask us about wanting something to nourish our 'Yang' further. Seriously, that was a terrible joke.
.
Any somehow, I struggled a lot along the journey but all ended 3 hours later. I landed Ipoh safely finally. First thing which I missed most was the Sar Hor Fun. It was about RM3.50 and you can already get a bowl of noodles in Ipoh. If you compare with KL food, I am sure you will swear KL food like me. Anyway, don't complain so much. But 1 thing which I missed out during that lunch which was the pig intestine satay. Too bad.. Too bad.. As evening was approaching, my family and I went to Ipoh Parkson for a walk. OMG! It's really a heaven for guys, man! I 洗眼(see girls) over and over while I was walking. No doubt that M'sians always say "Ipoh 靓女多" !But one thing bad was that, there was no variation among them. All looked the same to me. Anyway, it just to spent my free time while my sisters where looking at clothes.
.
Dinner time.. We had a very fantastic meal at Menglembu. Fantastic is the only word I can describe. The restaurant name is Wah Zai Restaurant. It is located near the 'peanut'. Don't worry, they charged reasonable price. We (5 of us) had 4 dishes with 1 soup, it came up to a total of RM 111. Services were superbly efficient too. Too bad that I didn't have my camera, or else I will take down pictures for everyone to 'amaze' about. Ha-ha.
.
The eating spree just ended the Saturday just like that. And so, I spent my Earth Hour in that restaurant as well.
.
To be continued..

Future Plannings Worth to Think About

It finally comes to a Friday and this might be the last blog for the week. Huu.. I had another stressful again. I had 1 quiz in the morning today and I also had my first lab practice. Things were quite good in the morning but it didn't seem to go well in the afternoon. 2 rats got their skin striped of at the tail part because they did too many "helicopter" stuns. So that was the consequence of it. Ha-ha. Anyway, my supervisor was patient enough to teach me about animal feeding. Next lab session will be about cardiac punture to withdraw blood samples.
.
After the lab session, he actually gave me something worth to think about. It was regarding my future plannings. What will I be in 4 or 5 years to come? Will I stay in the hospital and continue to become a hospital pharmacist or setting up my own pharmacy to serve the community? Or maybe I should become a researcher and further my studies? There are actually many revenues for research and development plannings but very less people are interested in it. So, should I enter a field which has lesser competitors rather than fighting to become the best pharmacist in the hospital? I don't know, any thing can happen overnight!
.
But it's good that I am still single and I can do many things by myself. I am free to go anywhere around the world as long as I am still single. Please don't get me wrong! What I mean is that I can go anywhere, any part of the world without any resitation. Definitely there is also its consequence, which is that I got to travel alone. But once you are used to it, it will definitely not a problem for you! I enjoyed life when I had a girlfriend many years back but I also enjoy as well when I am back to single. Anyway, different people has different point of view. So my dear classmates, have you ever thought of this or is it too early to think about this?
.
Enjoy and have a nice day.

Baby Names

It was quite a sad Sunday because Liverpool lost to MUnited and Malaysia lost in Swiss Open Final as well. I am sure you will criticise if you are a non-MUnited fan. He is really a coward to give yellow cards to MUnited player, maybe it's because he scares that he can't get out from Old Trafford if he send a player off the field. Ha-ha. It's impossible there's no foul for stamping on someone and got that player bandaged. Anyway, there is always critics after matches between Liverpool and MUnited. But it is really sad to have referees which are bias. =p
.
As you know that my name is Kevin and it actually means gentleman, so do you know what is the actual meaning of your name? I am sure that many of you have been listening to many weird, creative names on the street nowadays such as Ice, Orange, Rock etc? Don't get me wrong, I am not criticising anyone here but it's just for curiosity purposes only. Ha-ha. But don't you think that it's weird to have such a name? I am sure that 10 years down the road, don't be surprise if you know someone named Maniac, Demon, Devil, Dragon etc. I will definitely get heart attack if I have a son named Devil Liew or a daughter named Weirdo Liew. Swt -.-"

I know that many people would not opt for a classical or common name such as Moses, Richard, Barbara and so on because everyone wants to be creative. Anyway, as what I usually say, you have your choice and I have my choice. I can't prevent you from choosing these weird names but you should think the suitability of these name rather than being creative. I am sure that many people would not impressed by these 'creative' names when you enter the society. And I think you also wouldn't what your child's name to be a laughing stuff when they grow up. Just some suggestions, I wish to name Damien for a boy and Chloe or Clover for a girl. Ha-ha.

You can also check out for some of the baby names or even your own names from this site:

Enjoy and have a nice day.

Family Planning (back dated on 20th March)

Another busy week just ended... I still have 2 quizzes to study, 2 lab reports to do, 1 event to go, 100+ contacts to make, 1 futsal game to play, 1 great Liverpool against MUnited match to watch, 1 Pizza Hut's new thing to try, 1 church event to go etc etc, I think I will be tuning into a bipolar depression mode this weekend. Ha-ha. Anyway, life still goes on! Hmm.. Just yesterday, I had my first experience with a 3D movie. I can say that it's actually a disadvantage for me because I do not wear contact lenses. I watched "Alice In Wonderland". I think I was in my wonderland for most of the time because that movie didn't really impress me much. Out of 5 ratings, I will only give 2.5. So guys, I think watching the 2D is a better option.

Ok, back to the main topic. But before that, let's talk something about SEX. In your first instinct, how do you define sex? I am sure that you are not talking about gender. I know that it's some kind of action which gives you the utmost pleasure on earth, is it true? Ha-ha. I don't know, I am not a married guy. Anyway, sometimes it's not about getting the desired pleasure only, but you must also think of the reproducibility function of it. Many people have been ignoring this and it has becoming a "trend" nowadays whereby shot-gun weddings are hitting the town like hot pan-cakes. Don't get me wrong, I have no prejudice on this matter but what makes things sad is when they ignore or neglect a life, a gift from God when the girls got pregnant.

I am sure that you can see many of these cases on the newspaper nowadays. Some just dump their child in front of someone's doorstep or some may just flush the fetus down the toilet bowl, isn't it more cruel than abortion? And recently, got 1 lady got herself into jail because of killing 6 of her babies and another one was the couple committed suicide which left 4 children behind. Humans are not like some kind of animals e.g. reptiles, humans are mammals which need nurture from their parents. For every action that we take, try to think like what other people will think from their point of view and to think about the consequences. It's good that you can bear the responsibility but it's terribly bad when you are just ignoring you responsibility. What if your parents just dump you at the roadside or with some strangers when you are young? This is something worth to reflect to make a better world.

Enjoy and have a pleasant weekend.

p.s. I just added in a new chatbox and a new game. Check it out!

SOCIALISATION

Hey, the cancer chemotherapy and CNS papers are really suck. They are just the most "suck" things in this semester, definitely worse than my presentation day. I just can really describe that feeling, so I just say SUCK! Huuu.. Like Kuen said, "Work harder for FINALS!" Hopefully this really works. Anyway, I am glad that someone finally left 1 comment in my past 2 post. Thanks anyway. I hope that this is just a starting point.
.
As the world gets more advanced, it is definitely that more advance things are made. Besides, all human are getting richer day by day. Even a 6 years old kid can afford to have his own handphone and perhaps 12 years old kids are using an i-phone now. OMG! I can't really imagine what will be the trend be for the next generation. Anyway, back to the topic. Socialising skills in kids nowadays are getting worse day by day, this is mostly because of the advance technologies. 10 years ago when there is no PSII, laptops, i-phone and so on, SOCIALISATION is the only thing to spare a kid's free time. You can't play football or badminton with only 1 man; you can't have cheers to make you happy if you are the only 1.
.
Not only socialising skill is bad, they are terribly in deep shit now! Why? This is because they are severely depressed. When they can hardly make friends, this means that they can hardly share problems with their surrounding people. So they tend to keep everything within them and this can be the cause for those suicidal cases. Hey friends, this is not some kind of trigger to make things worse but this is just the reality. I can say that this definitely can't be seen by 95 % of the young parents on earth. Sometimes, parents cannot be over-protective for their children. What's the big deal with caning in school? It's just part of the disciplinary action whereby punishment should be given to a student who has done wrong. That's actually the time for them to learn to be a good person in the society in the future.
.
I know that some may think that I will not be the same when I become a father for a child someday, or they may just feel that I am just bull-shitting. Come on, face the reality! Future is in your hands!
.
Have a nice day^^

Christmas and Easter

I had my wallet left with 90 cents. I am really dead broke after making a new specs. Anyway, it’s good that I make that new specs early or else I will be a blind fool later on especially when it comes to Easter.
.
So countdown, it is about slightly less than 30 days to Easter Day but I don’t know why the street is not so happening compared to Christmas. Ha-ha. The weirdest part is the hottest town now which I-City is displaying some Christmas trees, reindeers etc too. As I know or my so-called religious point of view, Easter Day should be a more significant event compared to Christmas Day. Any somehow, Christmas has been commercialised in today’s world as everyone knows this.

Forgive & Forget

Wow, I am feeling so dizzy after putting on my new specs. But my dizziness doesn't stop me from reporting how my day is today! I have been seeking for so many experiences throughout my life time, but none is going to be what I experienced today.
.
I believe that a trip to drug rehabilitation center is never been one's thought. Frankly speaking, it is never be a place which you would initially think very badly. PERSADA in Sg. Besi is a drug rehab center for those voluntary cases of drug addicts. Before I have one step into the ground of the drug rehab center, I can feel that it's like a military camp whereby discipline plays the major role in all the people there. But after awhile of communication with the people around there, you will really know what they are really seeking for as you are understanding more about them.
.
Our first stop in the center is the detoxification place whereby it is located at the very far end corner of the 20 hectors land. It is quite an eerie place whereby all the "new comer" will be in that so-called jail. I described it as a jail because it is dark; the air is stagnant; the inmates are sitting or sleeping behind the bars; eating, sleeping, shitting etc will be at the same place as well. What they have is only water which is used to reduce the "cold turkey" effect when they have no drug supply. Any somehow, it doesn't really give me a very good feeling even after leaving that area. Then, we have some visiting around the whole center whereby everything around them must be neat and tidy. I don't think my bed is as tidy as theirs.
.
Later on, we actually had some talk given by the facilitators as well as experience sharing by the former drug addicts. It is good to know that REALISATION was their turning point for stopping drugs. And I can also see that there is actually a lot of regretness upon their actions before entering the drug rehab center. But the bad thing is the society is still unable to accept them into the community whereby treating them as a abnormal people or criminals. Though the people has changed thoroughly throughout the years in the drug rehab center, but the society still discriminate them. As what people always say, "People can hardly remember when you do good things, but a single bad thing is sufficient to overshadow all your kindness."
.
So friends, we must actually be a bit open-minded sometimes. I believe that everyone on earth deserves a second chance. God gave us a second chance for repentance but why do we want to deprive a human's right by looking through a narrow window. Even you have make any mistake, I truly believe that you would want other's forgiveness as well. Life is about "forgive and forget".
.
Thanks and have a nice day^^

The Proposal

Huu.. Days never get easy from day to day. Started with a good day but ended the day badly. I still need to complete my 1-day assignment to the drug rehab center tomorrow morning. Classes up till 5pm on Wednesday, I really wonder where can I get some time to revise my Cancer Chemotherapy notes. Or else I will be in deep shit on Thursday. Anyway, life still goes on!

As for this time, I have something which is more optimistic to blog. My emotions actually got happier when I viewed this video clip from Facebook...

Many people do get this once in a lifetime, but some may get more than once or some may not get this even one time. It's all about the proposal. Actually, do you witness any proposal by your friends, some strangers or anyone on the street before? Don't ask about me, I seriously didn't see before and none of friends are planning to do so because most of them are still single and none of them has plans to even find a partner. Anyway, back to the main topic. Proposal seems to be a must to get the key for marriage. Any somehow, human mind-set, I meant the guys is too great whereby many different creative ideas are used to express their true heart during proposal. It's actually a joy for yourself if you see it and even for the future couple as well.

But sometimes it maybe an upset if you do not have a diamond ring or a bouquet of flowers. Oh, come on! If they don't accept because of this, there is no sincerity of their love to you. In short, "Don't waste time on her!" If she sincerely loves you, she wouldn't demand anything from you if she agrees to marry you because you, yourself is already the greatest gift. But don't try to propose if you have nothing, at least try to get a silver ring. I am sure that she will be very happy. So, not to talk too much, enjoy the video. Have a nice day^^

Updates After 3 Weeks..

Wow. Nearly got out from my house for a cancelled class this morning! "Adui! Adui! Kevin, apa lar you?" Ha-ha.. Luckily I got 2 friends save me from the "deep hole" (黑洞)!
.
It's about 3 weeks since my last post. I guess you guys know how busy am I for the past few weeks. It was exactly 1 week of Chinese New Year break plus 2 weeks of restless studying period. It was so damn stress whereby I had my research project proposal presentation, quizes, lab reports etc etc. I still remember that I went back to one of my pharmacy attachment site to get some ointments and that pharmacist actually told to enjoy my study life!
.
Oh gosh! With the physical appearance and mental status that I have now, I guess you can see that I am not enjoying my studying life at all! I have to pay so much and I got to work so hard. What for! I prefer working hard and at least I get back some positive incomes. Anyway, different people will have different opinion on this, so I guess that I am different from many people which most people really enjoy their studying life. So how about you?! Do you really enjoy studying or a working life?
.
What else! Hmm.. I am having my finals in 2 months time and I am getting ready for my research during this coming semester break. Nothing interesting about my research project! It is just about testing some plant extracts on the rats and I have to dissect each one of them after the 14-days dosing period. So, here's my updates for the meantime. Actually there are more, but I prefer writing them in my diary because there many things which are too personal.
.
Cheers and have a nice weekend^^
